Our words change lives

Over the past 2 weeks, we have been taking part in The Amnesty International “Write for Rights” campaign.

To date, people from SBC and other churches in Sandbach have sent 38 greetings and messages of support to human rights victims around the world, along with 25 letters of appeal to governments and authorities for their release.

Amnesty says “Your letters, words and actions will put pressure on authorities to take immediate action, so that those who abuse people’s rights will be brought to justice. And those unjustly imprisoned will taste freedom once again.”

We continue to hold in our thoughts and prayers …
