A brief pen picture

In 1989, a Sandbach based housegroup from West Street Baptist Church in Crewe, had a vision to see God work through them in Sandbach. In 1990 this group, with the oversight of West Street, planted a brand new church here.

Our congregation is made up of local families and individuals. Since 2006 we have been meeting at Sandbach Primary Academy, Crewe Road (entrance off Newall Avenue).

As a church, we run a variety of activities to bring Jesus to local children, adults, families and elderly people in the town. In 2008 we opened Oasis - a coffee shop and meeting place in Green Street, Sandbach - to further these activities.
Our vision is to help to bring others to a knowledge of, and a personal relationship with, the Lord Jesus Christ, through our witness, both in words and actions. And to encourage, build up, and develop each other, in our spiritual lives, so as to be effective servants of God.
Revd Alistair Stewart is our minister - he joined us in November 2009.
