Willing hands lined up at Oasis to pack the shoeboxes with gifts.
Chris Nash, our organiser, writes about the ‘Love in a Box’ Shoebox Appeal 2023:
"I have been staggered by the bags and boxes full of all the things we needed and all the talented knitting and sewing of hats, gloves, soft toys, pencil cases and wash bags. Absolutely amazing!
With your help we managed to pack 160 shoeboxes on Saturday which will soon be on their way to deserving children in Ukraine, Bosnia, Moldova, Georgia and Romania in time for Christmas. We pray for safe passage and travelling mercies for all the boxes being sent through Teams4U and trust that every box will bring joy and a smile on the faces of each child.
It’s been a truly humbling experience for me and I cannot thank you all enough.
