A great Social Evening for Tek Ura
Tek Ura works in Albania to improve he lives of marginalised and disadvantaged people. Recently the project has been experiencing funding difficulties and SBC has committed to helping by raising funds.
A great social evening raised around £250 in cash.
But much more has been donated directly online and much of that was also Gift Aided.
We have now more than fulfilled our pledge to send them £1,000 before the end of January. Our total on 26 January (including Gift Aid where applicable) stood at £1,466.85. The Stewardship web page will remain open for further donations for the time being.
We will now commit to sending them a total of at least £2,000 during 2023.
To achieve this there will be a Craft Day on Saturday 25th March; and possibly another Social Evening in August.
