Twinned Toilet

We discovered that 2.4 billion people don’t have somewhere safe, clean and hygienic to go to the loo. That’s more than a third of the people on the planet.

Bad sanitation is one of the world’s biggest killers: it hits women, children, old and sick people hardest. Every minute, three children under the age of five die because of dirty water and poor sanitation. And, right this minute, around half the people in the world have an illness caused by bad sanitation.

So we decided to join Toilet Twinning. Now, the loo in our Oasis Community Centre is twinned with a loo in Bangladesh.
